MEET TOMMY

Tommy Paradise isn’t new to Aiken County — he’s spent nearly five decades serving the community he calls home.

A proud Republican and committed conservative, Tommy has dedicated his career to public service, leadership, and strengthening communities of Aiken County and the surrounding region. He earned his Master’s in Public Administration from Augusta State University, equipping him with the knowledge and experience to lead effectively. He began his career in 1976 with Aiken Public Safety, rising through the ranks and retiring after years of service protecting local families and neighborhoods.

Following his time in public safety, Tommy continued serving in leadership roles across local government, including as County Administrator for Edgefield County and in senior planning and development positions for the Cities of Aiken and North Augusta. In these roles, he worked directly with elected officials, business leaders, and residents to guide responsible growth, improve infrastructure, and deliver results for the community.

Throughout his career, Tommy has been focused on making government more accessible, more efficient, and more responsive to the people it serves. He has led efforts to improve emergency services, strengthen communication between government and citizens, and support economic development that brings jobs without sacrificing the character of local communities.

A man of faith and family, Tommy is married with children and grandchildren and is a founding member and Elder of his church. His values are rooted in hard work, service, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right for the community.

Tommy is running for the South Carolina House to bring experienced, accountable leadership to Columbia — and to ensure Aiken and Lexington Counties have a strong, reliable voice fighting for their future.
